Italy in Miniature: Travel Italy in One Day

“Italy in Miniature” is a theme park dedicated to the historical attractions of the Italian peninsula known throughout the world; its peculiarity lies in its size: everything is in miniature, and you can walk between monuments and attractions, making a tour of Italy and Europe. The park is located in Viserba (Rimini), a few kilometers from the freeway exit of Rimini north, and covers an area of 85,000 square meters.

A fun path, in the midst of more than 270 reproductions of monuments, squares, palaces, and famous historical sites and more than 5000 real miniature trees, where you can admire some of the most famous Italian architectural beauties, such as the Colosseum, the Tower of Pisa, St. Peter’s Basilica, Milan Cathedral and the Royal Palace of Caserta. In addition to the Italian peninsula, behind the Alps is also reproduced an area dedicated to Europe with about 30 monuments, including the Acropolis of Athens, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Little Mermaid Copenhagen.

There are also interactive and adventurous activities in the theme park, such as the path between lianas and bridges suspended in the treetops of AreAvventuraI, Cinemagia 7D, SlingShot, and the rapids to be faced on the trunks of Canoe. There are also restaurants, bars, eateries, and stores where you can find tasty gadgets in the park.

For children, there are areas where they can play safely. For the whole family, there is the Parrot World, a tropical island where you can admire the lives of more than one hundred specimens of parrots from Africa, Asia, Australia, America, and Oceania.

By car:: A14 freeway, Rimini Nord exit
By train: Rimini station and then bus;
By bus: from the Rimini station, line 8, circular route in the direction of “Italia in Miniatura.”
